"God"

today i was pointed to a website that made me once again both laugh out loud and cry at the same time. the website is http://blasphemychallenge.com/

this website challenges the existence of "God", like so many others out there. what makes this one special? it claims to have a video documentary that proves there is no "God".

you know what? i cant do this. so let me break it down for everyone.

being an atheist requires the belief in God. without the belief of him you do not exist.

the only proof God does not exist is the lack of proof he does exist. as you know this does not count.

you are no better than those you mock since you are doing the same as them.

the verse you use to gather your flock is flawed since you left out a chunk of it.

so good news to those of you who did commit yourself to hell, um you didn't.

so i can't really put my thoughts into words, but there are a few things on my mind. i would dig deeper, but i really don't see the point. people will always follow the crowd, no matter the message being told. the teachings will always change, but the crowd will always be the same. people do not need a god, or a belief or even a reason, they only ever need to feel included. atheism is just another place for some people to fit in.
