Evolution
so this is bothering me again, i dont know why. so forgive me if i rant and vent more than actually prove a point. it has been a bad day and on top of that i am sick of this fucking topic continueing to present itself. so this is my last word on it.
evolution is as much a crock of shit as inteligent design, when taught as an answer to where we came from. - note how i worded this because it makes all the difference. evolution as a scientific study has tons of evidence supporting it, but still has little facts. i do not want this to turn into a thesis so i will make it brief.
forced adaptation in a lab setting does NOT prove evolution.
like inteegent design, evolution completely lacks step one. without a first step, well there can not be a step two, and so on.
evolution does not have an answer to the missing balance of all life. if trees need animal exaust to live and animals need it from the trees, how did one develope before the other?
the math is wrong. thats it, all i have to say. dont believe me, do the fucking math yourself. there is a lot of it. (here is a hint, it is timeline based)
like anything humans are involved in, findings we have been falsified and thought of as fact for generations. dont believe me? did you know that even the smithsonian has a display that has been proven false by scientifc research, but still remains? look it up.
like many of those people who preach inteligent design, belivers in evolution have to rely on faith as they continue to try and piece it together. sound stupid or false? go find yourself an encyclopedia from 30 years ago and look up evolution, how does that compare to what one says today?
but all of these do not even pale in comparison to why i hate the study of evolution and those who preach it as science or the truth. and the reason that makes my blood boil is this, what is the fucking point? - all the money spent, time wasted, recources spent, minds occupied trying to validate a theory! a fucking theory that has no merit what so ever excep to silence those who disagree. it is not science, it is politics.
the real question is why.
why do we care?
would knowing our origin really improve our future?
if we knew our origin wouldnt it negate the purpose of life? (if we knew we were just chance what is there to strive for. if we were created by a god, what is the point in living, knowing the end?)
what might we have acomplished with the funding and efforts of evolution research if we never focused on it to begin with? (this goes for intelegent design as well)
and here is the mother of all questions in this line, "If one is proven without a doubt, either theory, will everybody actually accept it?"
okay so listnen up idiots. if you are going to try and prove a point or create a system for people to follow, have a fucking reason! your bickering and attempt to one up each other has become laughable and silly! do you even know why you do it? why do believe it? why you even want to know? ask yourself these questions, then think about them for real. and if you can come up with an original though, i would greatly like to hear it.

I was just having this conversation with my boyfriend last night, almost exactly.
I wont agree or disagree with you on this at all, but what I will say is, there is some progress with science. Religion has been stuck in the mud since it started.
I like evolution, I'm not a sciency person, I don't know much math other than how to add and subtract, but I like it, I like it a whole lot better than "God was there and he made this and he made that"
Stupid, maybe, but at this point I think that one day, maybe hundreds of years from now, they will have it all figured out. We're just a pushy society that wants answers now.
I want a soda now is what I want :D
